I've seen "Hello" threads before, but not entire sections of a board partitioned of for this sort of thing - I generally consider this type of post to provide everyone with the worst sort of impression - but if all of our newbie-esque self-indulgent sound-offs are quarantined where no one has to see them, I suppose I might as well!

I've belonged to several forums in the last three years or so - but grew bored with them for one reason or another - and a search for "geek forum" yielded you people, following some other more unsavoury choices.

So here I am.

hi. obviously this is my first post. i may not know if you tolerate this kind of post. a nonsense post actually. i just hope you dont consider this as spamming.
anyway im not really new in forums groups actually. although im not really familiar with the version of forum engine you are using. im still trying to figure out how eveyhting works. but its cool actually having a dark background and light text. it makes reading posts much easier.

so that would be it for me so far. ill browse the site if i can find anything interesting.

While on the subject of drive space, I don't know how this happened, but we're now at something like -30 megs. Maybe it's time I updated some quotas. :lol:
