If your goal is to take over the desktop computing arena stripping that title from the almighty Microsoft, where would you go?

Well, if you're Red Hat, you hire a VP away from another desktop arena juggernaut, Sun.

You know, since Sun released its own desktop platform and stole such a huge market share from Microsoft, it only makes sense.  

"Sun has a desktop platform?" you ask?  
Certainly, they do.  Doesn't everyone know that?
