Voila! Geekiness at epitome!

I can't quite make out the conclusion. Text is too small. But I would guess it has to do with trouts not ebing able to survive in well water right?

Well water comes from an aquifer -- a sort of maze of ancient, porous rock which absorbs and filters H20 --  usually located 20-400 feet below the ground. Ideally, no trout live there... but I suppose it's possible.  You're thinking of ground water, which had nothing to do with my experiment. But the ground water has been shot to shit in Florida, too and I doubt trout could survive in it (if they weren't a saltwater species in this area, anyway.) My experiment concentrated on rising salinity (salt) levels in residential well water, which I supposed was due to the declining osmotic pressure of the Floridian aquifer in my county from overusage. Basically, we're sucking up so much water right now in FL that salt water from the Gulf of Mexico and Atlantic is literally seeping underneath the state (a phenomenon called lateral salt intrusion) and the public is too stupid to realize it and/or do something about it. I gotta go get groceriess... ttyl.

I'm a rebel.

How many rubels for a night with you, rebel? 1,000? (Which, of course, corresponds to three wrinkled bucks, american...)

There are ways, there are ways...

Oh, and Pariah? The proper spelling is "ruble".

Just because your screen name is a traditional Russian name doesn't mean that you are the knower of all things Russian, mister.  More likely it's the fact that you're Russian.

Yeah.

You know what occurred to me? It occurred to me that if there was some guy here with a traditional Spanish name that kept correcting people on anything remotely Spanish in nature, I would consider that guy to be an insufferable pedantic boor. EVEN IF HE WAS REALLY SPANISH. I will try to curb my pedanticism.

Don't you dare!  I've learned a lot from you via your commentary on Russia and the like.  I grew up in a xenophobic household and foreigners scared me until I got to know you.

Ugh- I hate these things, yet I swear I'm a closet exhibitionist.  The first picture is me on a cruise last year (I hate those damned penguin suits), and the second is me during a very serious moment.

I just got back from a cruise on Empress of the Seas in April and was on the Serenade of the Seas a couple of years ago.  I thought it looked like a Royal Caribbean ship.

Welcome.
