JPEG Issues

My scanner is busted and I really needed something scanned.  So I went to Staples and they charged me two bucks. Whatever.

Well, I'm home now and trying to look at it but it's so big that it won't even open in the one photo editor that Enrique has on his computer.  What can I do to make it smaller if I can't even open it?

I can't email it to the guy like this.

Can you preview it?  XP's image preview resizes it to fit the screen, you could do that then grab a screen dump?
