I guess when the world comes to an end there will be no spam filters.

Currently, I am stock piling guns and ammunition, and am attempting to locate and contact thunder3davis in an effort to pair with him to better ensure my survival.

I believe that 2012 is the end of the Mayan calendar.

I also believe that one can contact fairies by consuming mushrooms.

Santa Claus is plotting to take over the world by using subliminal messages in the toys he leaves for your children on a purely pagan holiday that is cloaked and disguised as a harmless, happy Christian celebration. One he takes control of your children he will join with the gay/lesbian/bi/tran movement to destroy the family structure and bring an end to the democratic world. This event will include fairies in every possible aspect. I believe the climax of his plan will take place on the winter solstice of 2012, and he will achieve world domination by that Christmas.

I'd go .308; even though you'd need to stock up on a second type of ammo, it's still a pretty common one.

Really? A couple of gun enthusiasts I know are always complaining about the cost of ammo. Then again, they do go out every Sunday and lay waste to 500+ rounds, mostly automatic. Since I've never used ammo like that, I'm guessing it's the sheer amount they have to buy every week and not the actual cost of the ammo?

It's all relative.  If you blow through 500+ rounds in a weekend, that can get expensive right quick.

However, if all you do is the occasional target shooting to keep in practice, and hunting, you don't go through anywhere near that many rounds.

That sounds more like the definition of a "gun nut" than a responsible marksman.  Why waste 500 rounds when 3 will do the job just as effectively?

Unless you're me, of course.  I can't hit the broad side of a barn at 20 yards.
