Browser-Based Time Wasters

No, not my new rock group. ITT: We post cool games we find that are a good way to burn a few minutes while waiting for your jobs to compile or whatever geek stuff we're currently doing.

Pretty fun game, nifty background music. USE GRAVITY TO MANIPULATE THE BALL INTO THE HOLE (nonsexual ya pervs)

this game doesn't simulate friction. I demand it be revised!

I'm going to go ahead and screw up the premise of this thread and post this game. The reason it screws up the premise is that it takes up "a few days of work" more than just "a few minutes".

Bejeweled Blitz on facebook.

Each game lasts a minute.  The only problem is you can't play just one.

One of my favorites.  If you haven't seen it you should check it out.  Pretty epic flash game.

This is a simple game but what I can’t believe it that I can actually be so addictive. Talking about mini games as such, Facebook certainly does offer a number of mini games that would have you occupied for a short moment. But there is certainly a mini games website that offers so much more mini games that could be so much more entertainment. Give it a try, www.miniclip.com . I believe that quite a number of people already know about this.

There seems to be mixed reaction about the game with most of them being negative about it I feel blogs are meant for chatting and games however short they are are best left in the games room of which there are hundreds out there So, let’s keep chatting rooms as such where you can exchange discussions about any topic under the sun to be honest, I feel that that there is a lot more you can do here than playing mini games

Hey, you've made some pretty good posts since joining up. I may be blind, but I don't see your introduction post in the New Geeks section. Would you mind terribly going over there and making an intro post to tell us about yourself? Kind of a tradition around here.

I'm probably the one who addicted you.  And you're way behind me this week.  You obviously should be playing more.
