I'm looking for a new TV Show to watch, I liked Dexter, The Office, How I Met Your Mother, Lost. And other cool (well, more or less) stuff. What are your favourite TV Shows ? What do you recommend ?

The entire set of Science Channels
All of the History Channels
Occasionally A&E and TLC when I'm really bored.

Otherwise I read... unless I'm writing. Which still counts since I have to read over what I'm writing in order to write it.

I love Law and Order. Especially Special Victims Unit.

I also wanted to catch up on Parenthood, but they don't have it on Nutflix.

For comedy, I recommend Arrested Development and Strangers with Candy. I believe each had three seasons before cancellation.

Love Word World. Havana isn't that into it.

She loves Sid though. I find Gerald and Maye annoying because it's obvious that they are adults trying to do kid voices. You're not supposed to think about it.

That's the big problem I have with Sid too. Adults playing kids just doesn't work. Ian didn't get into Word World until a few months ago, so in a couple years Havana should like it.

If you're looking for stuff on DVD (or Netflix or whatever), I recommend Alias and Buffy the Vampire Slayer.

These days I watch Doctor Who and Torchwood. I also like Glee, Vampire Diaries, HIMYM, True Blood and a whole bunch of other shows.

The Gillian Anderson show. She had a male co-host and they occasionally featured aliens, more so as the show progressed. I was surprised to hear Canadians call it the X-Files. That doesn't make a lot of sense, but then again when do Canadians ever make sense? *shakes head* Milk in bags...

I used to watch very little TV... and then I started dating my fiance, who is a TV connoisseur. Needless to say I'm now forced to watch all sorts of television. Unfortunately, he tends to have the taste of a middle aged housewife leaving me to suffer through shows such as Grey's Anatomy, House or Cougar Town (okay, I actually like this show but would never admit to him).

Strange that there's no mention of Mad Men on here--it's one of my favorites, but finished for now until they are done filming the next season, which probably won't be till the spring at least. Also Weeds, Game of Thrones (finished till next summer I think) and in the past, the Sopranos.

I'm not a huge TV show watcher, so I don't end up watching many. My wife is the real nut.

It's a great show, Im glad I gave it a chance. I love Nathan Fillion and I'm glad he's finally got a show that's doing decently. You also watch Weeds as well? What do you think of the current, and past couple seasons? When it first started it was great, but I hate to say IMO it's gotten to the point of ridiculous and crossed over into unbelievable. I almost stopped watching because of that.... but strangely enough, that's also what's keeping me coming back.
