calm the fuck down lest he develop heart opportunities.

That's pretty much me right there. Having all this free time is helping with that though. BACK IN SLACK!

Thanks for the kind words, I'm doing okay. I'm trying out this whole positive thinking thing and I think this could be a good thing in many ways. I realize now that much as I enjoyed my actual job and most of my co-workers I was constantly resenting the management and the very concept of it in general, and I was probably a lot more negative all together because of it. Maybe I should try something different.

ENTP over here, apparently Q is one also.

I don't much care if it was sarcasm or not. I think people really should be able to say whatever they want and however they mean it.

112
It was the part about "could incite violence" that made the little vein on the side of my temple go a big scary pulsing one. Inciting violence, like geez I dunno, fucking EVERYTHING??? Like the goddamn White Album? The old Testament?

113
Heh. Like that's a notable feat.

That's why soon we'll win and there'll be no more religion and we'll all be happy together and smoke weed.

114
The atheist agenda is and has always been to flood youtube with hundreds of stupid vloggers who suddenly get subscribers for pissing off the Muslims.

115
Hitler was also a vegetarian and a painter. Point being that I don't think one characteristic (including religion) can describe how a person lives his or her life or if they decide to do something horrible. At least on an individual basis.

In the words of Eddie Izzard (about Hitler) "I cant... get... ze fucking... tree.. DAMN! I will kill everyone!"

Eddie is hilarious. Also, the vegetarianism has to do more with his fucked up health (that's what years of amphetamines and syphilis will do to a guy) than any humanitarian qualities on the part of der fuhrer.

116
It's true, it's not like we've got the American Jesus on our side or anything.

117
I think the real point about this issue is that organized religion CONTINUES to be used to murder and mutilate people to this day, while militant atheists are just annoying.

I've always thought of labels as being self-limiting by nature.

I don't have anything against atheists, mind you, I just don't like folks who identify with one way of life, then use that as some sort of justification for making themselves seem somehow superior to people who do not follow that way of life. It just comes off as smug douchebaggery and is ironically commonly practiced by people who scream about 'tolerance' and 'respecting diversity' the loudest.

Believe\Disbelieve all you want, just don't be all in my face about it and I'll extend to you the same courtesy.  :-D

Yeah that was my impression.

Hello n00b! My first words of advice to you are that your avatar is sure to piss of Xolik, who shall surely kick your ass digitally in his own two-fisted, bare knuckle brand of logical law and order.

It's coming down to that whole IT career "OMG IT'S FUCKING INSANE" versus "so bored you're trying to stick pencils into the suspended ceiling over your desk", isn't it.

I've been exploring the rest of my building to combat this and have made several intriguing discoveries. I attached a rope to the roof beneath the suspended ceiling above a tile in the bathroom and can now hoist myself within the structure.
