E. Gary Gygax, creator of Dungeons & Dragons, passed away this morning.

I'm gonna miss seeing him this year  :-(

Here's another webcomic tribute

I think the thread about his death on Fark was only the second genuine thread about someone dying.  The first was about Mr Rogers.

At my game this weekend we'll spin some D4's and drink some Mt Dew in tribute.

I'm gonna try to find some Gord the Rogue books this weekend (assuming I'm not snowed in) and read about places with names no one can pronounce.
