Entertainment / Vanessa Minnillo's Looks
« on: March 16, 2007, 02:27:26 PM »
What do you think Vanessa Minnillo is going to do after she finishes the TRL gig? It was a great way for her to get her start, but she’s way too gorgeous to get stuck doing countdowns forever (even if she looked great doing it).  I love the dress she has on in her recent photos too-- http://celebrityrumors.com/posts/vanessaminnillo/2/vm4.jpg
Does anyone know who the designer is?  I’m always terrible at guessing.

I personally loved this movie. Johnny Depp was really hilarious when he played Jack Sparrow. Won't spoil anything here, but it was definitely worth watching.

Anyway, I'm wondering if anyone here has listened to the soundtrack for this movie yet... I've heard a few tracks, and was impressed. Zimmer's compositions are just fascinating to listen to. I'm sure it must've take him a long time to not only compose each piece, but make them fit into the movie. It's very genius! What do you guys think of the soundtrack?

Man... he was one of y favourite guys out of everyone on Pink Floyd. I only know one of his songs from his solo careeer called "Opel." His guitar parts and singing was just great. I miss him greatly.

Entertainment / Cars Movie Soundtrack
« on: July 06, 2006, 12:05:04 PM »
I'm curious if anyone has heard the Cars movie soundtrack yet. To be honest, I haven't seen the movie yet, but a couple songs from the soundtrack were really good. Two songs I really liked were John Mayer's "Route 66" and Brad Paisley's "Behind The Clouds." I mostly liked the way John Mayer played and sang "Route 66" because I felt hsi version was more emotionally felt than anything else I've heard him do. So I was impressed. What about you guys?

It's a bummer I missed the contest. But I do really like GZA's "Feel Like An Empty." I haven't know their music long, but that song is just completely awesome to listen to. I'm sure some of you guys liekt his track too.

Cool. I was 2 years old, when I tried to sing "Sitting On the Dock Of The Bay" by Otis Redding. It was so funny becasue I barely learned how to speak, and I tried to dictate the lyrics from hearing it. But the original song is better than my version of the song.

Anarchy / what napster is getting away with

Napster. Great music, destroying the lives of young boys everywhere: www.getthewholething.com. I can't believe they get away with this girl in their video. I AM in the US not the UK right? LOL They have way better commercials in the UK... actually entertaining. Anyway, in the video, the background is a bit strange.

Oh yes I am certainly most evil. I wish I had songs to upload but the quality is shit.  I have to work on it. We have two drummers that I think is pretty unique. Anyway I have my bs in CIS and just graduated in June. Work is shitty. Finding work is always shitty. I curse like a sailor can't you tell. Thanks for all the welcomes.

Already Dead

I am already dead.
Just like everyone on the train
It just keeps moving back and forth
Just like we do
And our eyes look at the pavement
and we set the bums on fire in SF
And we just go to work
And we just pass each other because time is passing too
And we just want to get around each other
Sometimes I move with the flow
Sometimes I slow down
Sometimes I let the city grab me and awallow me whole.
Then I feel dead again... drained.

Whatdya think? Suck? Good? Suck good hehehhe
