I don't see how it's flawless.
And that's exactly why it is!
That makes sense right?
Your logic astounds me. Guess what I heard? Nothing. Move along.

Woo hoo! Thanks! Now I've got the warm fuzzies. How do I get rid of them?
Get rid of warm fuzzies? Stick your head in the freezer.

What the hell is with all the script kiddies coming over?!?
Fuckers.
I give Xolik 18 Geekery Points out of my own stash for joining the crew over here.

You've been using Debian? I'm impressed! That's about the same level as Slackware, from what I've read. Good stuff, but most Linux newbies get pretty flustered by things like that.
What window managers have you been using the most?
Screenshot? I can't give a screenshot (unless you want to see my beautiful command line) because I haven't had time to get my video card working. Soon!

I had every intention of starting with Slackware, but the CD I received from someone was corrupt or incomplete. So, I installed Debian 3.0 instead. It's not bad...I'm a real Linux newbie, and the only problem I've had so far is getting my crappy onboard video to cooperate.

Actually that pisses me off too... both things.
Women who wear low cut tops and short shorts waive their right to complain about being ogled. Period.
I agree, but ogling is one thing. Thinking we want to be groped or verbally harassed is another.

You do what ever the hell you have to do and I'll do what ever the hell I have to do. I'm looking for something unique, not some cheap ass points that everyone can get by showing off a little skin. But what if some of us show a little skin, anyway? Do we still get points?* *This in no way means I will be showing skin.

w00t! I'll try not to spend 'em all at once. Something that would be fun is you start off everyone with like 50 points or so. And users can give some of their own points to others for things they found clever, interesting or what ever. If we all keept our point balance in our sigs, it would be fun to see who's racking up points and stuff. So would they come out of our own stash, then?

Official geekery points... Interesting... Who want's some? Me. Unless asking for Geekery Points is like asking for Coolio Points...

On the subject of OpenOffice[/url], it's worth pointing out that it can also do some things that MS office can't... like save documents as PDFs. Definitely handy. It can, but you need a plug-in from Adobe. I do it all the time. On the subject of FTP Clients, one of my favorites is WS_FTP, which is available for free here. Easy to use, and free. Can't ask for much more. Personally, I think CuteFTP is crap. I use SmartFTP, myself. I'll find a link when I'm not in training. I'm an avid user of Eudora. I refuse to use Outlook, and I despise Novell.
