Router Info

I've got a question for you all, that know your stuff about routers. My dad has recently set up a server for UT, and he's working off a router. THe server works fine, put hes planning on setting up another one on another comp. But, theres a problem. My dad has used up all of the ports on the router, for the other comps in the house, and he wants to connect another one to the router. There is an Uplink port, and a WAN port, though...what are they used for?

The WAN port is used for a cable modem or other something of the like. You can buy another switch of your choice, and simply hook it up to the router as if it were another computer, and plug the other computers into the switch, which in turn leads to the router.

I have a 5 port D-Link Wired/Wireless router, which then leads to my BayStack 350T 16 port switch. Works out fine for me.

Sure, just use a crossover to run from the uplink to the NIC in question.
