From "Little Earthquakes".  I love that album.  I've never managed to get sick of it, and I've had a copy in one form or another since '92.

I also really like "Under The Pink".  I think those two are her best work.  I like her newer stuff also, but not as much as "Little Earthquakes" and "Under The Pink".

I love Little Earthquakes, too. I've got a couple songs off that album on my mp3 player right now.

Did I mention I've seen her in concert? Way back when, before I even liked her stuff. She was opening for...and I'm SO ashamed to admit this...michaelbolton. I was 12, dammit. What did I know about good music?  :P

Hush, you. I was 12.

Please tell me you were forced against your will or something...

I, too, love Little Earthquakes and In the Pink.

I could tell you that, but, sadly, I'd be lying.

I bought Little Earthquakes back in '92 myself.  I've probably listened to the disc thousands of times by now.  I proceded to get my wife hooked, along with many friends.  Under the Pink is also amazing.  I like the others too but those two were the best.  I do really like Strange Little Girls, though, she out-Neil-Youngs Neil Young and her version of Joe Jackson's Real Men is haunting.

Hey, I was up in Connecticut for an APO ("AFW"?) conference, and someone requested that song at the banquet/dance party. We Jerseyans showed them Nu-inglandaaaaaz who was boss!

Oh, and "Everyone's a Little Bit Racist" from the OCR (then again they've only had one cast so far, heh) soundtrack of Avenue Q.

Oooooooh, good song.

Maroon 5 - Tangled

I'm full of regret
for all thethings that I have done and said
And I don't know if it'll ever be ok to show
my face 'round here
Sometimes I wonder if I disappear

Would you ever turn your head and look
see if I'm gone, 'cause I fear

There is nothing left to say to you
That you wanna hear
That you wanna know
I think I should go
The things I've done are way too shameful

You're just an innocent
A helpless victim of a spider's web
And I'm an insect
Going after anything that I can get
so you'd better turn your head and run
and don't looks back, 'cause I fear

There is nothing left to say to you
That you wanna hear
That you wanna know
I think I should go
The things I've done are way too shameful

And I have done you so wrong
Treated you bad
Strung you along
Oh shame on myself
I don't know how I got so tangled up
