Oasis at the Roseland Ballroom

Hurray! I've got tickets to go see Oasis at the Roseland Ballroom on Sunday night at 8:00. Oasis..hmm, weren't they the same band involved in an accident the other day? Why yes, and the concert I'm going to is the one where they get back on their tour. Huzzah. Sorry. I just felt like telling everyone. I'll take lots of pictures.

Enjoy yourself. Don't bust a groove or anything. Might hurt yourself.

I remember some of their stuff back from about.... uh... 1996 and they have kinda "disappeared" ever since. Their two "hits" were Wonderwall and Champagne Supernova. Both of which I have, and both of which are good.

Have a good time while you're there.

I saw them in concert in NYC back in '95 because my then-girlfriend got free tickets to the show off of one of the radio stations.  They weren't that great live, though I do like one or two of their songs.

I enjoyed the opening band better.... some band called "Velvet Crush" or something like that.

They have a new CD out entitled TheHinduTimes (With no spaces). It's pretty good. The songs I enjoy from this one are the only 3 songs on the entire album.

1 - thehindutimes
2 - just getting older
3 - idlers dream

Both of the songs that Chris mentioned are really good too. Not that anyone cares too much but they are recovering from the crash. Noel Gallagher was suffering from whiplash and shock in addition to bruises, a cut on his face, and a not-quite-but-almost broken nose, and their regular keyboardist is out for possibly the rest of the tour.
