There's not much to get. Edina likes getting drunk and shopping. Every episode. It never gets old! I bought the DVD set and have three discs of the same plot material over and over again. Yipee!

I'm annoyed that I paid over $70CDN for my DVD copy, then less than a year later it's out in mass market edition for under $25.

I don't know if there are any difference between the two, but I don't think there is.

Nope. All I've ever heard was about how wonderful it's supposed to be. Maybe it is, and I just can't appreciate the subtle humor involved. At least, I'm hoping that's what it is.

Well you seem like an intelligent, stand up guy so I'll go with that answer too. There are plenty of Brit comedies that I don't get. Most Benny Hill stuff just goes over my head. Except for the naked bits. Those are a hoot.

Red Dwarf, The Office, Python, Benny Hill, Are You Being Served, Keeping Up Appearances, Fawlty Towers.  The Brits definitely have some hilarious stuff.  Ab Fab has its moments.  And agreed, TLOB is my favourite Python flick although MPATHG and MPTMOL are both still hilarious but no TLOB
