I'm using a cable internet connection which is rather fast compared to other cable lines that other ISPs provide.

But it does disconnect me a lot of times, and that can get annoying.

we get road runner cable and we pay like 100 bucks for cable and internet cable....not my money..

I'm on cable, paying $19.95/month because my cable provider was too stupid to cancel my employee discount.

I'm certainly not going to tell them.

I just downloaded the full backup file for this site, which is around 90 megs, compressed two times and it was going at around 630 KB/Sec. That's good bandwidth right there.

What did you do for the cable company? Go to people's houses and/or Climb ladders? Answer telephone calls?

Yeah, I'm sort of a job slut.

Uh, I worked at their reception desk. Arranging installations, handing out equipment, solving technical problems, that sort of crap.

Nothing better than having strangers yelling at you all day.

I also haoptimum online. And an SMC wireless cable device well, so I can take my comp up to 1800 feet away from the black box and still get a signal

I run on Prodidy SWB DSL which is great speed wise but when it comes to reliability it is more shady than a politician trying to get elected.

ive got 56k only thing around here right now. that is unless i wanna pay $200 a month fro some slow ass DSL. Comcast is supposed to be bringing cable down here soon then again they said 2 weeks in like febuary
