I have posted new forum rules. You can review them here.

Though they are somewhat similar to what they were before, there are a few things that are different.

Discuss as you see fit. I'll be here to answer any questions, or make changes as needed.

I took a trip over to Wikipedia.org to see their scoop on flaming, and I decided to go with their definition of the term, "flame" when used within internet jargon.

Flaming - Posting messages that are deliberately hostile and insulting

I think that sums up the term "flaming" pretty well.

Good question though. I'm glad you pointed that out because I'm sure many others had questions about what should and should not be classified as "flaming".

Two things:

1. "sole" should be "soul" unless you really were talking about shoes.
2. I really don't see what the problem is with step 7.

Number 7 is really there because I have done what I explained in the example. I have gone out of my way to change images and code to prohibit people from leeching images from my server. Every now and then I'll check the logs to see who's doing what, and if I see someone is leeching pretty heavily, I'll go ahead and "fix" the problem. Even if that means replacing the image with an image greater in file size. After a couple of hours they'll get the hint.

An axample of my "evil doing" can be seen here (Which is before) and NSFW==>here<==NSFW (After I did a simple change). If I remember correctly, it took the guy about 12 hours to correct the problem.

I don't think the rules will work with meta-flames. They may require some addon or modification to make them work with meta-flames.
