Yeah I grow and maintain a beard for at least a couple months each year, because I really hate shaving.  But then inevitably I end up with a job interview or something and get it shaved off.

One of my guilty pleasures is going to the barber shop and getting a shave an a haircut $37 (before tip).  We've obviously come a long way from two bits.

Also, it comes out blond at first, so there's no shadow. You don't really notice it until it gets kind of red and curly.

IF I let the hair on my face grow out a little (cos Im lazy about it sometimes); it is white. Solid white. I'm only 39! :-(   I look several years younger, too, just after I shaaaaave. I HAAAAATTTEEEE damn hair growing out of my face. Think about it for a second. If you didn't know "beard" ...  and someone told you they were freaking out; they just found HAIR growing out of their FACE!! Wouldn't you be like, "EEewwWWwwwWW!!! Dude!! WHY? ? ? Go see a doc or somethin'!!" ?

Just thought I'd mention that I shaved this morning. Used the clippers, as always. One thing about the clippers that I failed to mention earlier is that they leave behind a Don Johnson/Sonny Crockett stubble, so I never look completely clean-shaven, and people often mistake me for an undercover narc or a drunken bum. Or both.
