Hello, Im hoping I have finally found a niche

 :-D  Hello everyone,

     I am here because I did just this: Google: "Geek Forum".

     This site was the first thing that came up. I clicked, and registered. Im not wasting any more time, because I see something that really clicks for me, and Im going for it. Web coding, that is. But ive ran into a problem: Ive seem to gotten to a particular point where I need human help as much as I do written tutorials. I have a possible job on the line in the next five months, and if I really get my ass in gear, I may be making more money than I thought I ever would.

     So thats it, my story, very concise, of course, and lacking details. But blatantly honest. Of course, I am not adverse to lending my knowledge to other learners as well, so if thats how this forum works, by exchange, than I will most likely fit in.

     So all, I plead, be generous in your responses here, and let me get a feel for what this place is like. For starters, who created the site? Is it based out of somewhere in particular? Are the users here from all around the world or mostly located in one area? How many active users are there, really? etc etc hah.

Welcome! Usually I would give a cryptic non-sequitur response in lieu of greeting, but the recent influx of trolls and spambots has worn down my sense of humour for the time being. Please ignore them.

Well, I was hoping to find a site that was more of an experts exchange, which is what I thought I found here originally in the dame, but thats alright if it aint, ill keep that in mind.

On the other hand, if anyone knows of any sites that are, id love to know!
