You call yourself Mac Slayer, and you like Microsoft. The denizens of this board were ruining Windows systems before you ever saw a computer. We've been hacking win.ini files probably since before you were born.

In a nutshell, we're old-school geeks who are hiding away in our little cove away from the ocean of smacktarditude we call the Internet. Usually, getting accepted in our cove takes a little doing. And occasionally a tasty morsel comes along for the sharks to belittle, eviscerate, disembowel and leave only an empty shell of their former selves, before they get banned. Just ask <NAME REDACTE> what he had to endure. On second thought, don't.

Just remember this: the more inanities you post, the harder the sharks will come down on you. And I'm hardly a shark. So this is really your only warning: don't be a smacktard.

A week later, you would call back and provide your inquiry number and we would look up the computer and confirm that inquiry is resolved. Prior to re-issuing your your original reference number, we would ask you personal information to confirm your identity. Because our records indicate a different address, we would not be able to identify you which means you would be required to fill out form L-337 to formally notify us of a change of address. A week later, you would call back asking if we have processed your change of address. We would ask for a reference number, which you do not have, then we would proceed to ask you personal question to confirm your identity. You would sigh and your tone would change, but you would comply. However, the adress provided would be invalid so we woudl instruct you to fill out form L-337 to which you would respond that you did so last week and this is what you are calling about. We would put you on hold for 20 minutes while we played a quick game of minesweeper. Noticing that you didn't hang up yet, we would reluctantly removbe you from hold and advise you that we have tracked your address and have updated the system. We would ask if you require anything elese and you would ask us about the status of the inquiry, which we could finaly provide since your information has been updated. We would re-issue you the original confirmation number, and if you paid attention, you would realise that this is the exact smae number you had provided us with the first time you called. You would say a snarky remark and perhaps use ethnic slurs. Then we would ask you if you require anyhting else. You would say you would like to know about the status of your account unbanination request and we would ask you if you have a confirmation number. We would tolerate your cursing, because we understadn that you are frustrated. After you provide us with your confirmation number, we would put you on hold while we check the status of the request. A short game fo minesweeper would occur. Then we would bring you back on the line and advise you that your request has been processed by the priority sorting department and is now in queue waiting for to be actioned. You would ramble on about being 4 weeks since your original call. We could not care, and probably mock you amongst ourselves during the afternoon break. We would ask you if you require anything else. You would ask for a supervisor. We would put you on hold for 20 minutes while we play a quick game of minesweeper, and then we would track the supervisor who would eventually ask how he/she may be of service. You would start explaining your case but before you get anywhere, the supervisor would ask you if you have a reference number, to which you would react in a negative way, forcing the supervisor to hang up. You would then find another forum to join, and post a very long rant about the customer service at thegeekforum.org. Luckilly, this forum is not operated by government so I am happy to advuse you that your account has been unbanned as requested. Do you require any other services?
