Mac, I'm going to give you some unsolicited advice about posting here.

First, understand that you are a sardine in a sea of The Geekery's (OMFGLOL) sharks. Every hot new site you find, we knew about years ago. Every shiny new social network you join, we helped create. Every Flash-based funny cartoon/video thing you watch, we quit using years ago when we realized Flash sucked (which took most of us 0.00004 seconds from when we first laid eyes on it.) The big players out there? If we didn't found them ourselves, we helped make them what they were before the unwashed masses came along and ruined them. And by "unwashed masses", I mean "people who still beat you there by over a year."

Granted, some stuff is still amusing after many years. Chances are, you haven't heard or seen any of it. I'm pretty sure the following phrase means nothing to you:

You call yourself Mac Slayer, and you like Microsoft. The denizens of this board were ruining Windows systems before you ever saw a computer. We've been hacking win.ini files probably since before you were born.

In a nutshell, we're old-school geeks who are hiding away in our little cove away from the ocean of smacktarditude we call the Internet. Usually, getting accepted in our cove takes a little doing. And occasionally a tasty morsel comes along for the sharks to belittle, eviscerate, disembowel and leave only an empty shell of their former selves, before they get banned.
