I would like some advice on how to make my blog more interesting, my general writing style, and flames on my ideals and values. I've tried to get advice elsewhere, but everyone is too nice, so I thought "Why not go to the geek forums, where I've been flamed beyond recognition in the past. I'm sure they're willing to pass out some 'critique'

It's off balance, either center the text or put a lot of flash ads for penis enhancement/free porn on the right.

Also, I don't know what it is, but I think the coloring and font size makes it boring. Almost has a sterile feel to it.

Dude, its a personal blog. Nobody cares what you do with it. Nobody cared when it was your personal diary (book); and nobody cares now that you brought it online. We don't care which shirt you wear, what toothpaste you use, what you stick in your pockets, or what you write in your diary - whether its online or in a cute, little, padlocked book.

What's that all about anyway? When it was a "diary"; NO ONE wanted ANYone reading it. Now they're posted online for every/any one to read (and comment on); even taking suggestions on how / what to write. Wasn't the whole point for these things to be "private"?
