Done. Hostilities ended. You're off the hook, and possibly even getting laid. But, nooooooo. Instead we get to dance around the issue and claim ignorance and blah blah blah blah blah. To the men that are reading this, memorize that sentence and I promise you that 95 out of 100 times you do something wrong, that will fix it.

There is a very simple reason I don't use this line: I refuse to enable women I'm with to live in some irrational delusion where I'm somehow guilty or something they think I might allow to float through my mind... reinforcing this kind of behavior drives me out of my skull almost as much as women who go back to the men who beat them outside of a consentual context where a safety word might be involved.

I'm not one to lie to my significant other, even if it does piss them off when I won't let them bait me.

I get what you're saying, TD, and I totally agree with you. I don't mean that it should be used when it's not an honest feeling. I'm talking about a situtation where you actually do fuck up, and actually did hurt someone's feelings when you didn't intend to.

That case all depends on the context and intent. There are just some people that need to grow a thicker skin when it comes to the opinions of others.

That being said, yes, there are some men out there oblivious enough not to realize what they did, but the simple solution to that problem is to just not get involved with people that are that far out of touch with their immediate surroundings.

I've been playing phone tag with the Hematologist for three weeks now. The only number he gives me is the receptionist line that goes straight to voicemail so I have to leave a message. I give him my cell phone number every single time but he keeps calling my home phone. He somehow always calls when I am out.

So I just got another message from him saying that he's been trying to reach me for a few weeks and wonders if there's a better number to reach me on. HOW ABOUT MY CELL PHONE?

Also, he keeps running blood tests on my daughter and can't find what's wrong. Why does that not surprise me?
