I'm new and I hate anime!

In case you're wondering, I'm new and I also hate anime. Please don't label me as a future troll who will soon be banned. Just because I hate anime doesn't mean I'm here to flame anime or anime fans.

Methinks thou dost protest too much.  Why are you so eager to declare your hate of anime, unless you are a closet anime-lover?
I also hate anime, but that's because anime murdered my father.  And you don't see me always beginning conversations that way.

I know it was a bit suspicious but I only said that because there's a stereotype that dorks, nerds, geeks, etc. all love anime and think it's the best thing since sliced bread. I went on a mini-rant about it at another website and on YouTube and I guess when I found this place, it was still fresh in my mind.

I think you will find that anime is like all things, in that most of it sucks and a very small percent is decent.

The same cannot be said for diehard anime fans though. They're all horrible people.

Not necessarily all people, so I cannot concur.  Not necessarily all horrible either for that matter.  I'm sure I could find a horrible who is not an anime fan.
