False. I don't mind them, they're not the best, but they're not bad, I just hate McDonald's fries. Then again, I hate McDonald's... period.

IBTNP has never eaten fried green tomatoes.

False. Astronomy, on the other hand, is something you can believe in.

IBTNP knows the difference between a pulsar and a quasar.

True. Quasar is now known as Matsushita. Still a good TV, though.

IBNTP wears their jeans on the outside of their boots.

True, because that's how you're supposed to wear your jeans and boots, unless you're wearing snow boots and avoiding the whole snow-up-the-pant-leg scenario.

IBTNP prefers cable tv to satellite tv.

True; as I've never subscribed to SatTV. Although in principle; I would much rather have the independence of a satellite connection than a cable connection.
Also; it depends on the type of boot and circumstance, really. Combat boots worn as part of the military uniform of a US soldier are almost always on the outside; pant legs bloused or tucked in, unless otherwise ordered to "Unblouse Trousers". (which is done in training during summer months due to the heat).

IBTNP is wishes I would quit with the paragraphs in this thread and just answer with a plain, unremarkable "True." or "False." and then pose a dull, easily answered Yes or No question.

False. I enjoy your extra paragraphs.
I agree about the combat boots, however I was mostly referring to the recent of fashion of dumb-chicks to wear snow boots outside of blue jeans in the middle of summer. Which just makes you look like you have special needs.

IBTNP has participated in some form of archery.

True. I had the couple of days of "Archery" in gym class in jr. high, plus I used to have my own fiberglass bow. When we played I was usually supposed to be an Elf; and as such I got really used to carrying and using a bow, and making my own arrows.
BTW- this playing was usually based on a Terry Brooks trilogy as far as landscape; because the area we played really resembled the map in the book on a small scale. We'd all read the books (Sword of Shannara, Elfstones of Shannara, and ... fuck. I can't remember the other one. This was in the early 80's) and were familiar with the map and population types, etc; so we used that as "setting". We didn't play actual characters from the book; we would be our own, and sometimes might pretend to cross paths with a character from the book. But this was all outside in the woods; actually playing - not like a game.

IBTNP has done pretty much the same thing as I just described; playing-wise.

I pity anyone who can answer false to that. Those times were the joys of my childhood, disturbing adults with imaginary characters and bizarre storylines.

IBTNP grew up in the cawntry.

True, I guess you could say. It wasn't waaay out in the country; and it was a trailer park for the first and longest period. "In the country" is sorta relative term, though. Says the UPS guy who had to deliver a package; and he knew he would have to have the locals help him find the place. They did, graciously, and after leaving paved roads, traveling dirt roads which turned into paths; leaving the truck and hoofing it down into the woods, across two creeks (the last one with no bridge; just a lawg), and up the small, dirt path to the front door of this little remote shack; he finds no one home and a note on the door:

"GAWN TO THA CUNTRY BE BACK IN 2 WEEKS"

IBTNP  is about to go home from work. :-)

TRUE. Had it in Berlin at the flea market. Won't be in my favorites list, but it was good. It was COLD AS FUCK that day, too, and they serve it piping hot. So you can imagine we were pretty happy by the end of our outing.

False-ish. Depends on whether you consider a Jeep Wrangler a truck. I say no.

IBTNP didn't have as awesome of a weekend as I did. Had a shitload of my closest friends in town crashing at my house as they passed through to visit their families. Was awesome.

False. Between twenty-four people of varying ages, my uncle's homemade nog (pre-spiked for your convenience), the neighbor's gift of... shine, one giant pot of Brunswick stew, and no one being able to master the Wii controllers because we were all too hammered and the kids were passed out from drinking out of cups that weren't theirs, I'd say I had a pretty friggin' good weekend. But then, I actually like my family.

IBTNP doesn't have massive amounts of family members descending upon them over the holidays.

True, I'm one of the family members that's doing the descending actually.

Wunderkind, I think you live near me based on your knowledge of shine and brunswick stew. And a news article you posted awhile back. Cheers.

IBTNP is somewhere that's getting a piece of all the weird weather. Snow in Las Vegas?
