Hi everyone. I'm Andrea, and I just joined this forum. Well a little about me. I am pretty nerdy, sometimes a perfectionist. I have a couple of comic books and I LOVE to read them but I don't know where they have them near or in the town I live in. I don't look that nerdy and don't act like it. I play sports so they think I'm a jock. I like to read. I read War and Peace by Dostoyevsky doesn't interest me. I read all the Stupid Sexy Flanders books and got every movie out right now. I don't really know what much there is to describe. Oh. Before I got transferred to the continuation school I'm in now my g.p.a was 3.6 and the only reason I'm there is because I missed a lot of school for reasons people don't need to know about. That's it.

I became a programmer because of the movie 'hackers', it was very disappointing to find a hard drive wasn't lots of different neon coloured columns.  :oops:

I was already a programmer when Hackers came out, so I lolled. Well, actually I ranted and raved. I hated that film SO much.

I became a programmer because I wanted to design and code a game like Tempest or Joust or Wizard of Wor or Battlezone.

But, alas, I became good at designing and coding business management software, so for me it's pretty much this.

It didn't have to be you. People tend to be much more interested in plasma cannons or crazy light fast cars than theoretical physics.
