Hello people.
My name is Freya, I'm a geek/nerd/dork whatever the hell you want to call me.
I like novels, science, video games, comic books, scepticism, music, movies and sci-fi.

So I have a favour to ask you all today. I'm an Australian lass, who is trying very hard to get the hell out of this boring ass country.
One of our leading ISP companies is having a contest at the moment, and the prize is a ticket to America and Comicon. I need help getting votes to get into the top five. Once there I get to compete to win the tickets.
It would mean so freaking much to me if you could help me out by clicking a button! No account needed.

Has anybody here ever played TF2? For those who have not even heard of it, it's a FPS made by Valve. I have thousands of hours clocked into that game and have played it competitively. Here is a video of me singing a song I wrote about my favourite class, to the tune of the Portal song, Still Alive.

I shall reply in honest. I posted in the hopes for votes. My other stuff was in promotion of the votes, and a hoped justification of them. I was however at the time before this second exploring the forums and reading other posts. I'm a very shy person and have a hard time getting into new social circles. I've been looking for a new forum to go to since I left my old TF2 clan.

If you find this an answer unappetising I'm sorry. But if I wasn't interested, I wouldn't still be here posting. I would of dropped the link and left.

I actually really couldn't care less about getting traffic on my youtube video or anything like that. I wrote that song about a year ago and have never posted or even recorded it till now. I don't even have a face book account. =p I'm not one to give a crap about Internet traffic.

We have a problem with spambots around here, hence my trigger-happy finger. We kill many, many accounts that have no other purpose than to make spam posts. I'm sure you understand.

Ah, I've always heard FBI in the terms of youngsters. Sure if I posted "14/f/cali TEEHEE!11ELEVEN!!" then I would of understood it. But I'm actually in my 20s. Predators would have a hard time taking me down too, I am tall and quite muscular. I mean, if THE predator tried, I'm sure he'd kick my ass. But the humans were always the weak class in that game anyway. Wait... What was I talking about?

TF2 is fun. Honestly, though, I'd trade it in for HL2 Episode 3 or whatever the hell they're going to call it.

Yeah, Steam sales are really good at that. Borderlands is a fuck lot of fun. I hope you're playing with some cool people because the co-op is really what makes that game.
and yeah, Valve needs to get off their ass about Half Life, we really didn't need another L4D (although it was enjoyable, just charge us for a map pack and we'd of been happier.)

I thought Strong Bad had died out but it's good to see fans still roaming the wild Internet oceans.
