UNITED NATIONS — Nuclear-armed North Korea has assumed the presidency of a key United Nations disarmament body — despite facing UN Security Council sanctions over its weapons programs.

I was listening to radio four this morning and there wa a korean woman eho'd been kept in a prison camp for years, gotten married in there and had two children. Her husband died, as did her children and then she busted out.

Mad to think that sort of thing is still happening in the year of 2011.

When I read this, I could only picture the U.N. as
