Title: cookin' and bakin' and shit
Post by: h4wt_b3t4 on May 21, 2014, 04:58:07 PM
Today I made a cake. What other fun stuff should I make? What fun stuff do you make?

(Please post photos, I need more mediocre foodporn in my life.)

I really don't bake or cook much.  Most of what I concoct are new cocktail/martini recipes.  :)

Here's what I made tonight and am sipping on as we speak.  It's a variation on what I refer to as the "Old Fashioned" martini.  Bourbon, triple sec, bitters, about an ounce of grapefruit juice, shaken with ice and strained into a grenadine coated martini glass.  Garnished with a mandarin orange slice.

Yes, that is a Deftones CD on the table next to it.

I'm *planning* on whipping up a lemon Bundt cake with strawberry glaze drizzle for a cookout on Saturday. That will require me to actually purchase a Bundt pan, oh, tomorrow. LET'S SEE IF SHE CAN MAKE IT IN TIME, FOLKS.

I have an idea for a cocktail.  It's called the Goatse and all you do is pour about 8 fingers worth of any shit alcohol....

I probably used too much gin in the picture. I also ended up adding more juice.

So what is lemon Bundt cake slang for?  I went to urban dictionary and found nothing.  Must be something really new.
