Sure it is, just not feasible. I know a guy that runs a live webcam from his motorhome when he goes on trips. But mind you he's filthy ritch and has wireless access where he travels.

I like 1280x1024, anything lower than that on a monitor that's 17 inches is to big. The LCDs that are 17 inches are native 1280x1024.

If you're on a tight budge like myself, then I recommend something from Samtron, Samtron is small divison of Samsung and they make "economy" level monitors if memory serves.
