Yay for the Warhammer mention, and Weird Tingly Feeling is a "Geek Geek"?

I don't know, but it's holding paintbrushes and looks vaguely diseased or perhaps disordered...not quite sure what to make of it.

My friend sent me a bunch of funny Picard pics and I was itching to use one.  I came up with the oh-so-brilliant "UGH." caption.

The only good thing about children (not teenagers, the little ones) with cell phones is that when the child is inevitably left in my department I can have the child call the parental unit to come and get said spawn.  Usually after I call the manager, and sometimes after the police are called.  Nothing says, "Merry Christmas!" like Child Abandonment and Neglect charges.

I think kittens are cute, but I'm seriously allergic, so Norris can keep his stupid cats.

I really want to see Juno. I think its going to be pretty good. I love the actress that plays Juno. Has it come out yet? I hope I haven't missed its debut.

You haven't, it comes out on the 14th according to IMDb.  I'm looking forward to it as well, from what I've seen from the trailers and commercials, the writing feels reminiscent of Joss Whedon( <3).

pssst, am I perpetuating the whole "raising the dead thread" dealy here?

I hate Chuck Norris and everything he stands for. Tell me something he likes, and then I'll hate it.

Holla Yo!

(is that what the kids are saying these days? that reminds me of a walmart commercial where one woman says "jiggy with it" or something similar and another says, "i don't think they say that anymore" or something similar).

Ehhh, at least you're honest about why you registered (to mooch spam ask for help when you need it)

Good luck with everything, and enjoy whatever slack time you can get ;-)

When my dad was looking for a job (he was laid off for being a manager over the age of 50, male, and white.  this company took affirmative action and decided its translation was having quotas) he had fewer stress-related illnesses, and was able to get back into a lot of his hobbies.  Now he's at a company that appreciates him and he makes time for doing things he likes to do.

Q:  How many psychiatrists does it take to change a light bulb?

A:  One.  But the light bulb has to want to change.

LOL!  +1

But it really shouldn't be so fucking "iffy".

Arguments that actual threats are meaningless unless they are acted upon aside ...

having the right to an opinion and being able to express it, no matter how reprehensible it may seem to anyone,  as far as I always understood it, is the very soul of free speech.

The whole "I may disagree with what you say but will defend to the death your right to say it" principle is becoming lost in some/many areas.

I agree with you.  It  shouldn't be this way.  How did this happen????

92
Oh and there's no anger or hurt that fuels my sarcasm, I just sarcastic by nature.

Uh-huh.  You're not the one under the scope and yet you feel the need to qualify your actions.  Interesting.

I agree with the judge here...and to be honest sometimes you just have to figure out what's going to work for you, all on your own.  Another interesting thing is taking a personality test.  Sounds cliche' but if you answer honestly it can at the very least open your eyes to some new perspectives on how you handle life.  I'm not talking about some garbage e-mode half ass test either, take the Myers-Briggs.

That's interesting, we had a unit on that in my Career Development class- evaluating our decision-making patterns.  Also, our prof had us take the Srong Interest Inventory, the Myers-Briggs, and something else I forget what, and then evaluate how the results/tests will be important in helping our clients.

Mostly I see that as a time killer though.  My Myers-Briggs result was ENFJ.  I stand by my list making/taking regular breaks to do other work and to relax a bit.

LOL. Why does America suck so badly at speaking/writing in English?  I feel like all I ever to is correct basic grammar and spelling errors of everyone I know.  (and then mess up and look like a moron).

Our founding fathers would be so disappointed in the mess we've made.  Why that teacher felt it was necessary to post what he did the way he did I cannot say I fully understand.  I do understand why he felt that way, and the frustration, etc. because we all feel that way about something.  Unfortunately, freedom of speech is an iffy issue right now, and people are overly sensitive about sarcasm, assuming any of them even understand it, or can read past something to understand the anger and hurt that fuels it.  Granted, it is not always easy to know when people are being sarcastic in writing (did he forget his sarcasm flag?  maybe that would have helped) as there is no voice inflection or body language to observe, but come on, people!  I'm not the brightest bulb in the box and the am the first to admit it, but I hope I'm not so dumb to not understand the simple things!  (and then call the cops when it's clearly unnecessary.  Though it was clearly not clear to the person who called the cops.  Clearly.)

Title:LET IT SNOW! LET IT SNOW! LET IT SNOW!
Artist:Carly Simon

I copied that from the streaming radio thingy...sort of misleading, you expect the song to be exciting, what with the CAPS LOCK KEY ON FOR THE TITLE, but no.

Regardles,  I LOVE CHRISTMAS, WOO!

Yeah, I mean it's not a flawless machine, but I must say that the year and a half I've had my macbook pro, I've hardly had any problems, I really lucked out.  I had a dell in college (I don't really want to talk about it), so this is way better!  I grew up on Macs but I am definitely not an expert.  Right now I've got it tricked out for Christmas, I heart Shapeshifter!

"Ok, so that email you sent.  I read the part with my name, but the rest, including the attachment....not so much.  I need hte information I feel like reading to be up front, because again, with the whole not reading thing..."

What my boss would say if he even realized this is what goes on in his head.  To his credit, he is really busy.  I just don't understand why I have to send the SAME DAMN THING four different times.  Also, if I edit it (and mention in the email in the bit he didn't read) then don't print out an earlier version and ask why none of the changes have been made.

And procrastinating and then dumping the projects on me isn't cool either.
