As I recall, only the moderators have access to these 'locators'. How did you manage to swipe one?  :-D

certainly not in your stuff after i didn't drug and decided not to have a rabid baboon rape your head, while i never took photos...

I reject your reality and, instead, I substitute with my own.

and i reject your substitution, and replace it with a box of molten sugar.

oh, and welcome to the noob.

i'm not a grammar nazi, i just don't like otherwise intellegent people going and making themselves seem like they've got an IQ equal to their waist size.

and if i haven't said it already, welcome to the geekery.

Somewhere...

QOTD 8/4/06: There's nothing quite like...
my idea of health food...
a big 'ol hot dog topped with a pile of coleslaw and some onion, and a heaping platter of fries and brown gravy.

served with an ice-cold local brew...

although, it does get to be a pain when you try to explain to someone that a Gigabyte is actually 1,073,741,824 bytes...  instead of the 1,000,000,000 they think it is.

Kidding? No, that's what we humans call mistakes.  It happens when you're interrupted while typing.  I'm sorry that the most memorable part for you of my welcome post was an error.

call me a sleep deprived asshole, if you must...  but still...  at what point in that post would you have been interrupted to make that sort of mistake?

Atmosphere
"Pour Me Another"

[Slug]
All she wanted was a little bit of solid
Feels like love, it doesn't matter what you call it
Heal those cuts or hide em underneath the polish
Break another promise and take me as a hostage (take me)
Hold your job down and let the zombies crowd around
Thankin' mommy's god that it's a cop's town
Keep it safe for me while I chase a fantasy
Swervin through the galaxy, searchin for a family
Happily surrounded by planets and stars
She was stuck uptown while you was landin on mars
It's all fucked up now, caught your hand in the jar
Another small step back for tha man at the bar (hey bartender)
Spill a little bit of blood on the street
For the love that goes to those who they drink too much
And hold your own glass up to the heavens
Take a little time and try to count the seconds

[Chorus]
It goes, pour me another, so I could forget you now
Pour me another, so I could come let you down
Pour me another, so I can remember how
True that I am to this addiction of you [2X]

[Slug]
Drink it all away, numb it down to none
Stay awake tonight and wait for the sun
You say you hate your life, you aint the only one
Let your frustration out the gate and watch the pony run
One double, for the hungar and the struggle
Two for the fool tryin to pull apart the puzzle
Three now I smile while I wait for your rebuttle
By the fourth shot, I'm just another child in a bubble
Tryin to play with the passion and the placement
Just to see what these people let him get away with
Still tryin to climb a mountain for you
Hammer in my hand, still poundin on a screw
She don't listen so he don't speak no more
Nobody's whining 'cause neither is keeping score
Don't wanna think no more, just let me drink some more
Pour me another, cause I can still see the floor

[Chorus 2X]

[Slug]
Live life tipsy, Still if it don't fit right with me
Kiss me whiskey, lift my lips, press to my angel
Swallow it and leave her empty bottle on the table
Let the past fall, making faces at that clock on the back wall
Countdown to the last call, ask all these people that make sounds
"How long does it take for the pace to break down"
Another lonely little trophy
If only I could walk a straight line, I'd make it home free
And everybody in this bar thinks they know me
And my story like "poor me" (yea, pour me another homie)
I can count the days til you come back
Or I can follow them sunrays down to the traintracks
I can stumble drunk over hope and love
Or I could keep drinkin until I sober up (hey waitress)

[Chorus]

[Slug]
Bottles and pints, and shots and cans
Couches and floors, and drunk best friends
Models and whores, and tattooed hands
Cities and secrets and cats and vans
Good times, laughter, bad decisions
Strippers and actors, and average musicians
Mornings after and walks of shame
They bartender knows me by my real name
Sing it

Atmosphere
"That Night"

Dont even know if I can write this song
caught on a beam between right and wrong
gotta keep forward, keep straight
for the sake of why we stay awake all night long
Its not up for interpret
paranoid of exploiting the verdict
but in the same breath
I got thoughts that I wanna express and let surface
this aint for props or the pop culture
its about a balloon that got punctured
the sunshine'S fun til it burns someone
and we all got burnt that summer
She was sixteen.
Another young angel with clipped wings
she came to the shows
but I never met her, dont even know if she was listening
That night, we lost a supporter
that night, somebody lost their daughter
he raped and killed her at the venue
cant comprehend what her friends must have went through
that night the sun went dark
now watch everyone on the tourbus fall apart
that night, lord have mercy
the music died, that night, in Albuquerque

Stop, it can't be true right
this type of real deaont happen to you right?
Crescent, Murs, Dibbs, Jaybird
I wanna go home now and start a new life
wish I could protect the kids
I guess safety's a hit or miss
with a prior convicted sex-offense against a 4 year old
why we let you live?
Dont know what Im trying to write
but theres a part of me that keeps dyin at night
when I think about her mother
I become another number that wants you to suffer
youre locked up for now, you have no more chances to steal the childrens laughs
and if you ever find God
better pray to her and ask that we never cross paths

This is true. Not only is he a brilliant author, but he jammed onstage with Pink Floyd. That's pretty godly in my book.

i was actually considering figuring out stats for Mr. Adams as a diety in my upcoming D&D campaign...  just for a few minor references, and maybe to fuel an NPC cleric or paladin... any thoughts/suggestions?

N00bs are not people. Until we earn our stripes we're no better than that dog shit you scrape off your shoe after a rainy day walk in the park.

speaking of which... was that you I stepped in upon my return?

welcome noob.  enjoy your stay...  or don't.  doesn't make too much a difference to me.

i almost forgot what it was like to have a place where people got a laugh out of my use of obscure references to long-past-dead threads.
