Well, this kinda sucks...  My girlfriend takes care of a small colony of feral cats, one of which we've already had spayed, one of which has a litter of 4 that we've gotten ready to adopt out, and one that we foung out just last week was female, and pregnant.  Can you guess what we found on the front porch?

A dead kitten.

right now, i'm sitting here with the survivor while my girlfriend gets some needed supplies to nurse this thing by hand.  I've since buried the other, and get to keep an eye on this one next to me.  If i had my PDA synched up over here, i'd post a pic, but i don't, so it'll have to wait.

Anyways, i know it's a long shot, but anyone interested in adopting one of the other litter can contact me via PM.  They'll be ready to go thursday.  We're in the greater ohio area, eastern suburbs of cleveland, so, anybody who really want's to get a well-socialized, well mannered long-haired kitten, PM me.

Awww...were I near Cleveland and not moving in a month to an apartment that doesn't allow pets, I'd adopt one of them furballs. I miss my kitty. :(

Well, on the plus side, we're going to adopt out the 5 older ones in the garage through love-a-stray, and the girlfriend is hoping to keep the survivor.  we finally got him eating.  1 day old already.
