Aloha all!

I'm another refugee from HN..having evacuated to here a few days ago, i decided to become an official geek, as opposed to a pseudo-geek.  :roll:

So....in conclusion, greetings to the HN lifeforms, and salutations to the new friends i may well meet here. Looking forward to stimulating discussions, interesting topics....perhaps about yaks and cream cheese!  :lol:

The email still works just fine.  I've been getting and sending mail on it with no problems at all.

I never checked my mail through the main page on HN.... it always took too long to load.  I had the other login screen bookmarked, and it still works.

I would have thought that since someone said it didn't reply to pings, that it would then not forward any emails that go through its DNS zone.

Guess not.

Guess not.
I would have thought that too... that is kind of weird, isn't it?

But then, if the DNS is routing "anything"@hackernetwork.com to an everyone.net server, and the hosting is completely seperate, I guess it makes sense, if only the hosting went bad, and the DNS info is still okay for the mail routing...

Bah, have been net-less for a few days, forgive my tardiness.

Hey Demo, DSM, Lacerda, Banshee....Good to see you all, was going somewhat crazy without my daily HN fix! I looked somewhat like this -->  :evil: (Mind you, i usually do in the morning, so perhaps it wasn't entirely due to the lack of HN.)

As for the life raft, i'll chuck a neon sign on it. That oughta do the trick. 8)
