Let's all bitch about the little things that cause us to see red. I'll kick it off with one of my favorites:

Even worse is when I hear some slack-jawed mouthbreather use 'prolly' in real conversation. I will instantly lose any respect I may have had for you once you utter this nonsense.

Actually, little abreviations like that can be irksome, but the real way to get on my nerves is to come into a tobacoonist's shop while I am there, look at a hookah, and make some sort of 'How much pot can you fit in the chamber' comment. Retards!

I actually used to use 'irregardless' quite frequently in normal conversation, all the while believing it was a word, not a double negative. Some part of me still clings onto the notion that it's acceptable.

Irregardless of that fact, I've changed. I don't use no double negatives no more. Now I'm prolly off to have a sandwoosh.

Well, actually, it is a word. English language dictionaries recognize it -- some reluctantly, some without reservation. Here is Merriam-Webster's deffinition (on-line version):

the little things? i have a lot of big things. not so many little things.

but here's a few:

people who just stop walking in a major foot traffic area without looking behind them first, especially in a crowded doorway area.

being forced to read stuff i'm not interested in.

using body language (like shrugging) to answer my question, especially when i'm not looking.

excessive cussing and loud talking in a public space with no clue that you are bothering others. (like when i rode ManCrack to DC, i mean AmTrak sorry)

etc

oh yeah. i also hate "sammich" and "prolly" and really hate "imma" but i use "tho" all the time... of course i don't use my shift key much either and i know that's annoying to some, but this is the way i have always typed.

i hate when people hand write "U" llike "C U later!"
