I think it's about time we have a reunion. Where the hell have they all gone, anyway?

Obviously they don't frequent here anymore, but have they gone else where, fell off the face of the earth, lost internet access, got a new job that doesn't allow them to browse this site, or something else?

You're not high level enough. You can only summon level 1 kobolts which explains why 12 showed up the first time.
