In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida, baby,
don't you know that I'll always be true?

Oh, won't you come with me

I've said it before, and I'll reiterate now: I'm not wealthy enough to be eccentric.

I'm just nuts.

[/i]That's more or less what my wife and I have decided, too.  We keep talking about how we seriously need to consider how we are going to make ourselves wealthy, because otherwise, we'll just be considered "weird" instead of "eccentric".

Personally, I don't care, as long as I can have my mutant sea otters.... ;)

Some quotes to make you think about who really rules the earth...

"The geeks shall inherit the earth"-- The Bible (slightly altered)

"Find all the freaks and let's go
Get all the freaks and let's go,
We're taking over the world we're the alien youth"-- Practically unkown rock band, Skillet

"Be kind to Nerds someday you'll probably be working for one"-- Bill Gates, exerpt from "10 Tips to becoming Wealthy" (How dare I quote Bill Gates in a forum full of Hackers FLAME ALERT)

"It's cool being a Nerd because your practically invisible, allow me to Demonstrate"-- My childhood friend before sticking his middle finger up to the principal and then being expelled.

"Knowledge is power"--Unknown

And there we have it ladies and gentlemen da da-da daa THE MOST POINTLESS USELESS AND MOST GRAMMATICALLY INCORRECT POST IN THE WORLD!!!

Wassup Daria,
The ranking system aint't that good if you think about it
1 If you are actually a 31337 hacker you don't want a tag that says lamer
2 Script Kiddies are in no way better than Lamers.

Random Note: Was anyone else as disapointed as I was when I saw the word "tasteful" in the synopsis the the Geek Girls forum :-}.

1. This forum is not about hacking. To my very best knowledge, there are no hackers here, unless they are still in the woodwork and have not come out yet.

2. You could always help the ever lacking Geek Girls section by adding some pictures that you like.

Chris, they were both just jokes dude, no need to take it so seriously...

How often do people post to these forums, do you make it a pint to post daily or whenever you feel like it?
(just wondering)

I think the more perplexing question is: Did you just grab his ass?  :)

Now, primal, I am curious as to why you selected this as a rather important quote...

but at any rate i would like to note that when "Knowledge is power" is combined with a few other common statements how amusing this gets...

So if knowlege = power
and if time = money

and as many know, power = work/time

then if we substitute in we get:
knowlege = work/money

and if we rearrange for money we find that
money = work/knowlege

now this means that as knowlege appreaches 0, money approaches infinity regardless of how much work is done....

the universe can be rather backwards when one looks at it in terms of common knowlege and physics.

right...  on to more boredom.

power = work/time which is measured in watts.

Money is measured in dollars, which does not equal seconds, the unit of time as represented in your equation time = money. In addition, knowledge is (obviously) unitless, which means you are mixing units...

I'm so sorry, that answer is incorrect.

Arrg!  I forgot to take into account that that entire proof might be completly baseless because of the fact that nobody has proooved that knowlege = power and that time = money...

but if in fact they did then there would be a plausable conversion ratio regardless of the units, but some idiot would have to go figure that out... (not me)

and to you alex:

ummmm...  who is richard nixon?
