President Bush's volacubary
« on: January 11, 2007, 12:31:01 PM »

So last night, Bush talked about his new plan to deal with Iraq. After listening to him for 30 seconds, I told my wife that Bush had learned a new buzz word (sectorial). You know, sectorial violence this, sectiorial violence that. She replied that he'd probably use it in an inapropriate context by the end of his speech. I responded that maybe he'd complain about a sectorial itch or something like that. Hehe!

But seriously, I should have counted how many times he spoke the word. And you know what the worse part is? He still can't pronounce "nuclear". He said "nucular" nemrous times last night. Hasn't anyone brought this to his attention yet?

Sure they have.  The thing that drives me nuts is the other people that have adopted that pronunciation.

I assume the misspelling in the subject is intentional.  :w:

So he said Sectorial and meant Sectarian?

I beleive he mixed up the two on a few occasions. But my memory is as good as his pronounciation so... I guess the point was that he learned a new word and keept using it over and over and over. Just like he did when he learned the following words or expressions:

- smoke them out of their caves
- WMDs
- Axis of evil
- Evil doers

and many many others.

Now he has added "sectorial/sectorian" to his repertoire. Get ready to hear it often in the upcoming weeks.

You aren't actually under the misimpressional that he writes his own speeches, are you?

That's deleteriousably deinformationalized to me.

All I can say, is I wish I were foreign at times, because if his English pronunciation is that bad I can only imagine how badly he mutilates words in other languages.

Trust me, I know how many hands a speech can go through before it actually gets to a senior political figure. It can be scary.

Don't forget 'Make the Pie Higher', my personal favourite (thought I suppose if you think about it in context he COULD be telling the American people to screw like rabbits).

Did anyone else see that episode of the Lone Gunmen where they used an antenna hidden in a balloon to hijack the feed going to an interviewer's earbud where he was being fed lines for an interview with a Senator? I don't even want to THINK about who gives Bush his lines sometimes, though to my way of thinking it seems evident that it is largely on purpose.

His flubbed lines look to me like an attempt to make him look human, almost below the common man (ie, the sheep that got him (re)-elected) and for some reason this works better than having a competent leader.

The "nekkid" and the "On" conflict.

Not really, the on refers to the state of the condition.

Everytime our Glorious Leader speaks, it reminds me that it's been ages since I've been to the Ice House.
