Haha...   my niece's birthday was this week, and she'd mentioned wanting to learn to play guitar. She's already taken and learned flute and trombone at school, and will be going to Band Camp (again) this summer. One of several 'camps' she's signed up for this summer; this is not a sit-on-her-ass kinda kid.
 So when Daddy's childless big brother heard she wanted to learn guitar; you can bet it was taken care of!  8-)
I got her a Fender Squier Acoustic-Electric, a case for it, a stand for it, a tuner, a box of picks, a 10' instrument cable, and a Behringer 50w amp. :-o Her mama signed her up for lessons from the guy in that town who taught almost everyone I grew up with. 
 Look at that face - the grin alone was more than worth it!  :-D




lol... they gave it to her yesterday, and from the time she opened the boxes until her mama came to pick her up she sat there picking. In that time alone - never having played guitar- she picked out Deep Purple - Smoke on The Water, lol!!!  I love this kid!  :-) 8-) :lol:
