I speak from experience on this, kids.  My stepmother was practically a member of the Gestapo.  My cell would get tossed for contraband at random, but at least once a week.

I developed two things to deal with this.

1) Mental Mapping

I got in the habit of taking a mental "photograph" of my bedroom every single time I left it... without exception.  Move a pencil on my desk or touch anything at all in my room, and I would know immediately the next time I entered it.  It helps to have a good memory, which I do.

2) Hiding

Become a creative expert at hiding things you don't want found.  In the entire time I lived in this fairly oppressive environment, I NEVER EVEN ONCE had anything found that I hid.  It helps that my stepmother isn't too bright, and has the creativity of a bottle of mustard, but she ransacked my room often, and thoroughly, and never found anything of consequence.

If I ever told her all the "stuff" she missed over those years, I seriously doubt that she'd even believe me.

I should add as a side note that this particular skill came in handy while I was in the military, in basic training to be particular.

If you want advice in this area, let me know, and I can give you some pointers.  Seriously.

kids, the best possible spot to hide stuff is the last spot that the parentil untits would ever think of: Their own bedrooms. Find a spot with a lot of dust in your dad's closet and hide your street medicine in their. If your mom ever finds it, you can always frame your dad.

No, I never once hid that stuff in my room....thats just begging for it..


I hid my stash (which, when busted, contained 1/8th of an ounce of high quality stuff) in the basement in a small bag (one of those stupid gift bags with popcorn and syrup and other useful things) which was in the bottom of our crap pile (which is the shitload of boxes which we were to lazy to move when we first moved 200 feet up our complex) which was discovered because my fucking mom just brought in an exercise bike and decided that then was the perfect time to clean the basement.

I didn't smoke last year... Well, not weed at least.  That was a christmas present from some of my good friends this year. :D   Nah, had missed a week of school and my teacher was like "You should know this from Basic and Pascal!"  i'm like "uh..?"  Yeah..
