I really want to start this, to be honest. The few people that I've met say it's a very good read.

I loved Snow Crash.  However, it's the only work by Stephenson about which I can say that.

"Dune" is a classic, and a must-read for any serious sci-fi buff.  It's very thinky, but that's one of its best features.

I've liked all of Stephensen's work so far.  I have yet to read Anathema.  I think it's next in my queue after The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo.

i enjoyed snow crash a lot but it wasn't quite as epic as i had hoped for. granted it was unique and funny. i've read about anathem and i can't understand what it's about. i also wanted to check out the diamond age and cryptnomicon but i wasn't sure if they would be over my head. i am really getting into dune, i usually prefer more recent sci-fi but i figured that like snow crash it was one of those geek classic literature books. i think after dune i may check out isaac asimov's foundation series, i hear a lot about that as well.
