hardware compatibility

I'm new to building computers and I was wondering if these parts were compatible with each other and with a Linux OS.

10 bay ATX case

Evga 122-yw-e173-rd NVIDIA nforce 750i sli socket 775 ATX motherboard

Intel Pentium dual-core 2.7ghz 800mhz lga775

Arctic Cooling freezer 7 pro rev.2

Evga NVIDIA geforce gt220 1gb ddr3 dvi/hdmi pcie

Masscool 92mm case fan

Kingston hyperx 8gb (4x2gb) 1333mhz ddr3

Western digital 1tb caviar green SATA 64mb cache

OCZ fatality 750w psu

Viewsonic 19" lcd

107-key multimedia keyboard

Hitachi/LG GH22NS50 22x DVD±RW

I'm still not convinced it wasn't something bizarre.  Nvidia actually has superb driver support for Linux.  The problem you had was a pretty oddball one and I'm convinced it's pretty rare.

Hey all, so the a-power psu is no longer available, does anyone have any experience with the OCZ Fatality psu? And should I be ok with a 750w psu with the above setup?

Lol ok Ivan the illiterate, the post was not about price but about reliability. The OCZ fatality is supposed to be 80+% efficient with power usage but also supposed to reliably provide the 750w peak when needed. I have yet to find a review and was wondering if anyone had tried it out or knew something about its track record.

I've tried a few approaches at getting to know you guys here all of which either died quickly or were abused, not that I'm surmised lol.
