Puzzle of the Week 7

Puzzle #7 (2/28/11)

Send the answer by Friday.  This is WACKY WEEK.  The scoring will be different.  Usually, anyone who answers on Monday gets 25 points, Tuesday 20 points, Wednesday 15 points and so on down.  This week, each day is still assigned a certain number of points, but the order is jumbled.  You may get 25 points on Wednesday, but only 10 points on Monday.  So answer the puzzle and then guess which day to post it on so that will get you the most points.   :evil:



Find a six-digit even number containing no zeros and no repeated digits in which the first digit is four more than the second digit, the third digit is one less than the sixth digit, and the fourth and fifth digits when read as a single number equal the product of the first and sixth digits.

Alternatively, you should provide a harder puzzle for us to solve to determine the correct day.

Oops...
I thought we had until next Sunday night to reply... which assuming a uniform distribution would've put the expected maximum value at 3.5 days past Monday, with the mode being 4 days past (Fri)...

If I'd read it correctly then I would've come up with Wed giving the expected maximum number of points... which seems would have been correct :(
