ok, I'm trying to log onto KIT...it's a linux AIM client...it wont log me on, do I have to pay for AIM??? If so, that sucks

Never tried Kit... you have GAIM though, right?  I know for a fact that it works pretty well.

No problemo.  The default irc client in Gnome is pretty cool too.  I actually like it better than the mIRC32 client for Windows.

Which version of Mandrake are you using?  I only just started playing with the new one...

9.0...and damn I love it. It's more verbose than 8 so even though I may not be typing things in through a terminal...the kernel will show me what it is doing. If there's a problem installing RPMs or whatever, it's alot easier to troubleshoot. It's alot more hardware happy too. Very 'plug-n-play'.
