I really hate this trend of typing half a sentence into the subject line of a new thread. It infuriates me to the point that I just do not want to read the post. Now, I have even had a couple e-mails sent to me with this format and that really bugs the shit out of me.
I get it, we are too busy here on the internet to spend the time to capitalize and try to use some grammar, but this is just too much.
Fuck you internet, fuck you.

3 1/2 years, $58,000, and 1 massive senior project later, I'm done with college! And now, 10 years to the day after beginning my 1st career, I am beginning my 2nd career. I must say, it feels good to be done and making money rather than spending it. I trust everyone has been doing well here?

So this weekend I will be attending my first gaming convention here in Seattle. I am excited to see the different panel, games and general goings on of the con. Should be a lot of fun. Giant Bomb will be hosting a panel, Blizzard has a booth and loads of (hopefully geeky) girls.

I grew up on Next Gen, and Picard has the diplomacy side down. But Kirk could get any woman from here to Andoria, and thats the type of dude that inspires me in my present state.

So I have a Wii. And with that Wii, I got Guitar Hero 3. If you hadn't heard, the Wii version of GH3 shipped with mono sound. Well Activision did a recall and I was left with out the game for about 2 weeks, not a big deal, theres always other things to do. Well I got my new copy and enjoyed the surround sound and I thought that was it. But today I got home from school and there was a package on my doorstep, it was from Red Octane, the games developer, and it was a new faceplate for the guitar. A free new trinket as a thank you for my patience. A perfect capper for a good day .

Seeing as how it has been an incredibly long time since I have posted here, I thought I would re-introduce myself to the community. Last time I posted I was just getting ready to get off active duty. Since then I have officially gotten out of the Army and I am well in to building up my student loans . After saying goodbye to my Army friends, I made some good friends out in the "real world" who really helped with the transition. Other than that, I am still the same beer drinking, WoW playing, technology lovin, guy that I have always been. I hope to come back and be an active part of this community and put some of my new school'in to to use.

I just got my new laptop from Widow PC about 2 weeks ago. it was working pretty good untill about 6 hours ago when i rebooted and i got a blue screen. so i think it was a one time deal like most blue screens, but no. everytime i get to the welcome screen BAM! there it is, telling me IRQL is low or not equal. safe mode, even safe mode with command propmt, same thing happens. so i decide to re-install and when i go to choose the drive i want IT HAPPENS agian. im hoping its a problem with my hard drive. but i have a feeling i am going to be sending it back to widowpc to have the warrenty take care of it.
fuck i really need a beer.

Well a bit about me. I got into computers about 10 or so years ago when my mom brought one home from work. Im no super geek or anything, but people do always seem to come to me with their questions, good thing it mostly has to do with a spyware infested hard drive. I am currently in Iraq doing my best to keep a couple of radars up and running in this killer heat. Most of the things i enjoy have been put on hold for the year that i am here, but at least i still have my heavy metal and my computer, the beer can wait. well thats about enough for now, see you in the forums.
Oh, and I cant code a lick, but its on the books to be learned.
