what does it all mean???

I would reinstall JAVA. Sun.com should have something for that.
-
i did that three times over! i just dont get it.
-
Just for the record, are you using Windows XP?
-
yes i am
-
No further questions your honor.

Irrelevant. Java.com has J2RE available for us Windows XP users. It works just fine for all your Java needs with no JVM.

I never bothered installing anything additional from Sun when using IE, only when using Opera did I have to download anything from them. I remember back in the day when I looked into Java programming the JRE was a mess to install and use.
-
well i guess i'll give this J2RE business a try....
-
does it make a difference tha i have an AMD processor?
-
nope
-
well... it seems I've already got J2RE, SE v1.4.2_04 installed.
-
eh.... i dunno
-
hmm, get rid of m$ ie and check:

Can you please fix your Location? It's expanding the page unnecessarily.

Wow. Aren't you the clever one? Using a "$" as the "s" in "ms." How original! Did you think of that all on your own? It's so refreshing and original! No, really!

Edit: I agree Xolik!
It reminds me of when I was, like, 14 and I heard that for the first time - it was so original and funny ... 8 years on, it's really not funny anymore!
From here (http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=M%24&f=1)
M$
Typically used as a derogatory term for Microsoft. Typically used by those who use Linux as their operating system, it implies that Microsoft, a business, cares about business-related things.
The person said M$, so I naturally dismissed their opinion on what is the best operating system.

Yeah, it's old. I know. It's early for me and was the only thing I could come up with at the time. Overused cliches just bug me. IT'S A TRAP!

woah there! I was agreeing about the M$ thing! No Akbar cliches needed here - I just need to make sure I quote the right thing next time!
-
Well, alrighty then!
