Everytime this article gets posted to the New York Indymedia site their editorial committee hides it without explanation. However, if the ideas behind it are that ridiculous why not let other people see them?
The author argues that the progressive media is not what it seems, and that fake video was aired on 9/11/01. Any comments from this crowd?

the discussion you linked to concerns Flight 77 striking the Pentagon. It doesn't appear to discuss the video of the planes which struck the WTC.

I don't waste my substantial (>150 IQ) intellect disproving drivel that has been refuted beyond the shadow of a doubt.
How's this for an exercise: prove CONCLUSIVELY the existence of God, without using the Bible or other religious sources as absolute proof.
Edit: A similarly challenging intellectual exercise will also suffice. But please, no more sensationalist crap.

The site you link is not the most compelling I've read on the subject, but what makes me sick is the inevitable sales pitch at the end of the argument. Just more venal pigfuckers trying to profit by exploiting a tragedy.
I'm sure your "ideas" explain away the loose ends -- like Osama's bragging and the eyewitnesses who DID see planes crash into the buildings -- but why bother? The central argument is pathetic all by itself:
Throughout the day of 9/11/01 the news media repeatedly showed video clips of "Flight 175" striking the South Tower to a horrified public. Then the video imagery disappeared from the nation's airwaves. It has seldom been aired since. That's because this 911 video was fake. There were no commercial jets which crashed into the World Trade Center. The planners who conceived of 911 knew that jet fuel (i.e., refined kerosene) could not possibly melt the steel towers?and certainly couldn't deform the steel to cause it to collapse in the path of most resistance; i.e., straight down. Yet, they also needed a large television audience to SEE these planes striking the towers before the towers demolished. This would indoctrinate the general public into believing that the planes caused the destruction of the towers. Because 911 also included a fictional attack on the Pentagon, a shoot-down of a civilian aircraft (UA 93), phony cell phone calls from heroic passengers and another tall steel building (WTC 7) suddenly collapsing in its footprint this was too much information for most people to handle. Millions of people (still) want to believe the ludicrous official story of 911 so badly that they are willing to accept whatever scientific and logical contradictions are necessary to do so.
The "scientific and logical contradictions" -- namely, that "jet fuel (i.e., refined kerosene) could not possibly melt the steel towers ... and certainly couldn't deform the steel to cause it to collapse in the path of most resistance; i.e., straight down" -- are not contradictions, but a stubborn denial of what happened before our very eyes. There is no evidence whatsoever of any other cause. The only evidence you hold up is "well... gosh... it doesn't seem possible!"
Face it. It happenned. After months of planning, a group of radical Muslims hijacked some planes and flew them into buildings, causing catastrophic damage. The buildings collapsed into their footprints because that's what buildings like that are designed to do. "Oh look!" you asshats cry, "It collapsed into itself -- the shadowy government must be behind this!" And if, instead of collapsing downwards, the tops of the buildings had broken off and gone flying into other buildings, killing thousands more? "Oh look!" you pathetic cretins would have cried, "The tops of the buildings were propelled sideways -- the shadowy government must be behind this!"

Actually, I don't profit at all from the tragedy of 9/11. We can't say the same of the government in Washington (or its supporters).

Sam_Fan, think about how logistically impossible this entire scenario is. Has anything the administration done before or after 9/11 given you any indication that they're the diabolical ULTRA-geniuses that they would have to be to do something like this?
