Anyone interested in starting a league?  I just signed up.  Haven't put together a team yet, but  I was hoping to play with people I am somewhat more familiar with.  I'm under the name Khylen.

Foley is listed as "resigned."  You can add him, but it is probably the equivalent of putting someone who's injured, and not playing, in as your quarterback for Fantasy Football.

Sweet, maybe my American Gov't teacher will give me extra credit!

But, is there a way to score points for keeping a bill from progressing?  My ideal politician accomplishes NOTHING.

I'd give you +1 for that, but either I'm stupid, or I don't have the post count I need to do it yet.

You must love them all then!

No, they still get too many bills passed for our tastes.

Your American Gov't teacher shouldn't be giving you extra credit if you don't even know that the feds aren't supposed to get much done.  If laws are too easy to pass, our rights will dwindle quickly.  But as Demo said, they do too much anyway.  Do yourself a favour and read up on the concept of limited government.  It's rather essential to understanding anything you'll learn in a class about our system.

Yeah, i know i was just kidding. In a previous Gov't class (Last year i was at a different school and you only needed a half-credit of it to graduate) we had a debate on whether or not the lawmaking process should be streamlined. I was against streamlining the process and i did a lot of research and said stuff like obviously the founding fathers believed that laws needed to be thought through so the people wouldn't get screwed over. I had a lot of really good stuff but the other people were popular so even though they said the dumbest things in the world the class still voted for them to win...i hate high school.

College is sort of better.  Turns out the football team needs good players, so morons still get in, but overall it's cooler.  I'm less than a full semester in and I like it better.  I don't get laid at all really (but I never did in high school either(but my girlfriend is coming to visit this weekend))...and I've lost my train of thought.  Anyway, hang in there.  College can suck, but it's better than high school.

The work place is sort of better.  They still need managers, so morons still get in, but overall it's cooler.  I'm less than a career in and I like it better.  I don't get paid enough, but I never did in high school or college either (but I get a review in January)...and I've lost my brane for thought.  Any way, hang in there.  Work can suck, but it's better than unemployment.
