E. Gary Gygax, creator of Dungeons & Dragons, passed away this morning.
I'm gonna miss seeing him this year :-(
-
+1 to spirit for Gary. RPGs just wouldn't have been the same with out him.
-
We'll miss you, Gary. I'm glad to have had the privilege of meeting you in person... you were a great human being.
-
Save vs Death failed.
-
That's really unfortunate. He was an amazing man.

You will be sorely missed.

Never met him, but I wish I had. Sad to see him go. :-(

Here's another webcomic tribute (http://www.giantitp.com/comics/oots0536.html)
I think the thread about his death on Fark was only the second genuine thread about someone dying. The first was about Mr Rogers.
At my game this weekend we'll spin some D4's and drink some Mt Dew in tribute.

I'm gonna try to find some Gord the Rogue books this weekend (assuming I'm not snowed in) and read about places with names no one can pronounce.
:(

Would you say he will be critically missed?
-
With a devastating critical hit, of epic proportions.

You know I think I have a couple of those, I'll have to dig them out.
