Title: Finally entered the "Real World"

3 1/2 years, $58,000, and 1 massive senior project later, I'm done with college! And now, 10 years to the day after beginning my 1st career, I am beginning my 2nd career. I must say, it feels good to be done and making money rather than spending it.  :-D

I trust everyone has been doing well here?

Thanks all!

I got my degree in Electronics Engineering Technology, now I'll be working on photo lithography machines for ASML. Basically, those are the machines that make microchips.

also, I want a usb port on my arm, so i can have the necessary hardware when the software shows up.

I just checked ASML isn't one of our customers.  So what do you guys use Synopsis or Mentor?

I couldn't tell you. I have been with the company a week and a half and I'm still learning the noob ropes.
Lots of sitting at a computer and doing computer based training on safety and clean rooms.

Yeah. I'll be working in Intel fabs in Oregon doing matenice, repair and upgrade on the new machines they have.
